Kharkiv and Illichivets are the bottom two teams in Ukrainian football and their struggles might even continue into the second tier next year. Illichives recorded an impressive win last time, winning at home to surprise many but their hopes of not finishing in the bottom two still remains a high possibility. Kharkiv has faced some of the stronger teams over their recent run in  and it is expected that they will not gain any points through such difficult period. But the game today might give them a glimmer of hope as they will be playing an opponent of rather similar standard.

If we do compare the home forms and away forms of these two teams, one will find Kharkiv sitting dead last based on their home standings wherea Illichivets are the worst travelling side in the country. Each side has approximately cocneded twenty five goals on their home/away basis and it is hard to see either side keeping a clean sheet today. The order for the day will be for both sides to go for the three points for prides sake and I think their coaches will just tell them to concentrate more on the attacking side to out duel the opponent.
