Hearts only have to defend the third place from Hibernian in the run in of the scottish season but for today's game against Aberdeen, they look outsiders to win because their away form is just pathetic. 8 defeats in regular season fixtures will do them no good, after scoring 12 goals through those games. Aberdeen have been pretty flat in their form over the last month or so, which proabbly is down to the fact that they are sitting comfortably in mid table.

The head to head records against this two vastly similar teams does not tell much as the outcoems are pretty much evenly spread between the pair. I do think that besides the two losses to Celtic, Aberdeen are a hard team to beat in recent months but their attack seems toothless up front. Hearts have been very disappointing in their last two games, losing to Hibernian and Rangers and they must be fuming at those drop points. I think both teams do not have the extra cutting edge to outclass the another and the outcome might possibly be a score draw.
