Rubin Kazan have really started the season very well yet again having won four out of their seven games at this point of time. Tomsk are sitting in a respectable ninth place with most of their games being very tight except for the 0-3 loss to Zenit St Petersburg. Other than that, all their games have been decided by one goal margins either way. Rubin have conceded only three goals this season with their mean defence keeping oppositions out and the fact that they are imperious at home.

Rubin Kazan should win this game by ease given their superiority over their opponents today but we have to take into consideration that Tomsk have never been on the losing side yet this season, meaning either they lead or draw at the interval. Therefore, I expect Rubin to win this game by maybe two goals but I think most of the action will come in the second period, which is a common trend in russian football when team start to open up.
