Manchester City have been quite solid at home, and they are led from the front by Robinho, Steven Ireland and Elano. For some reason these guys don't get the job done away from Eastlands, but definitely been doing the business at the City of Manchester Stadium.

They have lost only 1 game at home in their last 5, and that was against Fulham when they were in the middle of their UEFA Cup runl. The remaining games have been won by them with ease. Blackburn on the other hand has done horribly in front of goal, where they have lost 3 on the trot away from home, which will not give them much confidence heading into this game.

Samba will continue to play up front, but hasn't shown anything spectacular. Pedersen has been the only decent player for Blackburn as they are missing 2 of their top players in Santa Cruz and Roberts.

City should win this game to secure the victory at home, to ensure their fight for the UEFA Europa League spot especially with Fulham taking on Chelsea and West Ham away to Stoke City.
