Over 10.5 corners

Despite being the semi final of the biggest club tourney in world football i expect this game to be end to end with plenty shots on target and loads of goal mouth action.

A lot of people seem to be writing Chelsea off but i dont know why. The Blues have given Barca a number of tough games in the CL and not just at Stamford Bridge. We know Barca are a fantastic attacking side who score so many goals but their defence is not on the same level and Hiddink im sure will feel they can grab a vital away goal. Drogba is the key for Chelsea, he can put himself about and win important flick ons.

Ofcourse from midfield forward Barca are fantastic to watch and have the worlds greatest player in Messi. Bosingwa will probably be up against the Argentine as Cole is suspended, so he will have his work cut out.

With the amount of attacking quality on both sides im sure we will see a lot of corners. If you are going to stop Barca you have to give away a lot of corners because of the pace and quality they have. The Spanish giants try to use the width of the park as often as possible, by getting the full backs forward, and Chelsea must stop balls coming into the box given how nervous their keeper has been recently any time the ball has been swung into his 6 yard box.

At the other end Drogba will give them problems and we know Chelsea are one of the top sides in europe at shooting from distance. Guys like Ballack and Lampard will try a dig any time they are given space to shoot.

I do think there will be a few goals and over 2.5 is decent value. But 11 corners or higher seems the safer bet as a very exciting 1-1 draw would not surprise me.
