Fulham vs Stoke City

This sports betting tip was written by rahul on April 25th, 2009 at 12:55

Fulham and Roy Hodgson's team are looking to maintain their great form at home with 9 wins 3 draws, and 4 losses coming into this game against a Stoke side that have only won once away from home, and that was against rock bottom West Brom side.

Fulham have just recently had several injuries to their side with Simon Davies missing out due to a stress fracture in the back, and Barnes and Kallio being longer term absentees, but other than that they have a fit squad to choose from.

Their are boasting one of the top defences in the league conceding only 28 goals, which is fourth behind Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea, which really tells you something. All the defence is being held back by Norweigen captain Hangeland as well as Konchesky, Pantsil and Aaron Hughes.

I see it very difficult for Stoke City to do anything against especially since the big news that their form striker Beattie is out with injury for the rest of the season. In addition, they have numerous other injury problems for Higginbottom, Wilkinson, Diao, Sidibe and Faye. With these players being siginficant for them throughout the season in grinding out results and almost securing Premiership Football for another season, it looks difficult to see how they could not lose away from home and continue their rubbish road form.

Fulham to win in the best bet of the weekend.
