OKC Thunder vs POR Trail Blazers

Portland are currently red hot after having 3 big victories against Utah, Phoenix and Memphis, and need to continue their winning ways to try and win the division beginning with a victory tonight against the lowly Thunder.
Portland have been led all the way by Brandon Roy this season, averaging 23 points, 5 assists and 1 steal a game, which is the kind of performance that saw him get the Rookie of the Year award 2 years ago. Things are going to get tough for them as they have to play 5 out of their last 8 games on the road in a race for the division title.
With the Blazers going more on the offensive in recent games averaging over 110 points per game, it can clearly be seen that they are stepping up their game in order to secure the home court advantage in the playoffs.
The Thunder have been larely struggling through this season but will take great heart from their performance against the Spurs where they won by 1 point, spurred on by the 20th 30 point game of the season for Kevin Durant, who is on his way to receiving the Most Improved Player of the Year award.
With a supporting cast of Jeff Green and Westbrook, this team is definitely building up its credentials to be a force to reckon with in the future, but taking up against a more experienced Blazers line up, in their best form of the season, will be very difficult to shut them down tonight.
LaMarcus Aldrige will be the key player of the game, as he looks to take advantage of a size match up over Jeff Green and get to the rack at every opportunity.
