under 2.5 goals.

this looks the most tight cup tie of the night and one that should be quite physical and short of goals.

birmingham have never really recovered from big eck taking them down and since then there has been so many players moving on and a real shortage on cash to buy quality players. its a shame to see such a huge club sitting near the bottom of the championship but thats where they deserve to be as this is one of the weakest teams. they really struggle to score goals and lack the confidence to play in front of their own support.

stoke are horrible to watch, i dont care what mark hughes says its still terrible football which is all about not losing. they had a go at man utd at the weekend right enough but who wouldnt the way moyes side is playing. before that game the side had managed just the 4 goals which is a really hopeless and quite embarrassing total. they wont go down ofcourse but will as usual scrap and battle for points here and there.

2 sides struggling for goals that really dont want to be losing this cup tie with the way their league campaign is going. i say this will be tight, dull, boring and could well be 0-0 at the end of 90 mins.
