over 10.5 corners.
Its been a long while since these sides met and everyone remembers the friendly match in dublin which had to be stopped. But over the years Rep have really given England some tough tests in final tourneys, their passion and possibly similar style catching the English out.
Ireland are struggling slightly in their group with a huge match coming up against Faroes next week. Its one of those tricky ties which you simply cannot afford to drop points in and everyone expects to win easily. Really Ireland are looking at a play off play even that might be tough ask.
Englands campaign has started to wobble a little bit too and as always with this nation the manager is starting to come under a little pressure with talk about how he should be doing a lot better. Once again at the last finals England were nothing special and crashed out to Italy offering next to nothing in that match. Getting there is usually not a problem but we have to say their efforts are finals are probably getting worse.
I think both teams will have a right go and this will be quite an entertaining and exciting match. It looks as though Trap will go with 2 up front a very exciting partnership of Keane and Long. Possibly with McGeady(very tricky wide player) and Walters on the right. This suggests for once hes going to have a right go and fancys Irelands chances, 8/1 odds do seem quite long.
England have been hit with injuries again, but as always they are pretty tough side at home and will use their power and aggression. With lampard out there we will see shots from distance, he is in top form at the moment and England do have so many good striking options Defoe, Ox, Welbeck, Sturridge.
I actually dont fancy many goals despite it being a good game, 2 very good keepers, but i like the odds on there being plenty of shots at goal and a right few corners at both ends. over 10 seems more than possible.
