2 sides who have made a brilliant start to super league but for me the Giants look the stronger side and with home advantage can win this one.

Hull have 3 wins from 3 over Wigan, Celtic and Catalans. You can say thats not exactly been a tough start and the fixtures have been kind but super league is of a high standard this year and the result over Catalans proves Hull will compete with the top sides this year.

They certainly have a strong set of forwards and its nice see Horne back fit and linking up with Berrigan. We seen them struggle last season to score points but thats not been the case so far with Thorman also on good form. It will be interesting to see what kind of reception he gets from his old club.

The Giants have looked even stronger in their opening 3 games, in my opinion. That result in France was amazing as the Catalans are usually very stong on their own pitch. Last week they went to the Bulls and despite being battered for long spells held out for a win. You know a side are defending well when they can go to Bradford and keep out what is a massive pack with some amout of power. The Giants line speed is superb and the goal line defence even better.

Even when losing to St Helens, best side in super league for me, the Giants were well in that game until the final 20 mins. Its fair to say Huddersfield have landed a smashing coach in Nathan Brown and i do really like the way he uses his replacements at just the right time.

Its early days but the Giants can join Hull at the top of the table. Scott Moore is in super form and forming a nice partnership with little Robinson and at last Kevin Brown has found his form. There is little doubt about his class when his confidence is high and possibly he is now working with a manager who gets the best from him. Hodgeson is sure to be among the trys as well as Hull should struggle with his perfectly timed runs and support play.
