Lorient is currently on 10th position, while Lille is third, but massive 11 points behind the leader PSG. Their ambitions are connect with Champions League place. I am sure they will try to win at Lorient, specially because Lyon and Rennes have the same amount of points, while Marseille have only one less. That is why I am expecting an open and efficient match here. But there is something else. Lorient will be without regular goalkeeper Fabien Audard as he received a red card against Auxerre in the previous round. It is clear his absence is a great handicap for the hosts, he played 21 games from total of 22 games that Lorient have played in the league.

By the way, Lille played a very, very efficient match in the previous round. They lost from Bordeaux in a match where 9 (nine) goals were scored. Bordeaux won with unbelievable 5:4 at the end. Four goals for Lille were scored by four different players (Rozehnal, Hazard, Debuchy and Roux) and that fact is very positive. Before that Lille lost 2;1 from Valenciennes (cup) and won 3:0 against St. Etienne in the league.

At the end I will mention that those two teams knew to play some very efficient matches in the past. On 05.12.2010 Lille won with 6:3 for example. It is too much to expect something like that again, but four goals are not impossible to be scored at Stade Yves Allainmat - Le Moustoir.
