its day one of the new season and the pitches are not great so this should a close game thats low scoring.

new era for cas, we know they like to entertain and throw it around but im sure this season will be about sorting out the defence and making this a tougher side to beat. yes they have nice options in attack but more power up front and better goal defence is absolutely vital. if they can sort that out maybe a push at the play offs is possible, one thing we do know is that cas have one �of the best youth systems in super league.

salford also have a new coaching team and will be hoping to improve what was a very poor season last year. ratchford is a huge loss to the attack he was their go to guy so im not sure they have the talent to replace him. scoring tries could well be a problem. as always though the reds should be tough to beat at home- but it is a new home a brand new stadium that most top clubs will look forward to visiting.
