Lets be honest these 2 clubs really dont like each other so a very physical game is to be expected.

Utd got the win over Arsenal last weekend and while their form has not been fantastic the champions are at least picking up the points. City still look favs for the title but experience is huge at any level so we expect sir alex to take it right the way till the last couple of weeks. Going out of europe was a hugh blow to Utd- not even against tough opposition either- so i think this cup becomes a little more important to Utd. A league and cup double would be a good season but if City were to pull clear at the top it would absolutely vital to at least take one trophy.

Liverpool are in one final with the CC semi win over City in midweek. Its been an odd season for them so interesting results and good performances at times but some quite awful displays too. Its clear the manager has wasted a lot of money- Carroll and Henderson have been very poor. But even so this is another cup run that will excite the fans and we know how badly Liverpool love to get one over Man Utd.

Depsite so many great players out there i doubt this is going to be a good game of football- its just too important. I expect stop start, loads of needle, 2 committed sides and a great atmosphere. I cant see anything other than a very busy aftenoon for the referee. This has a history of being a very tense fixture and after recent events theres very little chance of that changing.
