Dunfermline are finding life in the spl quite tough at the moment so the chance to play a big cup tie and have a break from league duty is no bad thing. Their form is terrible, last win was way back in Sept at Hibs, no home wins in 11, and a quite amazing 31 goals lost at east end park.�

It is going to be tough to turn it around but one thing this side is not short of- effort and desire. I think they have played some good football this season and always make chances. Their defending though has been pretty awful- so many soft goals at set plays.�

Caley are on good form at the moment and have managed to pull away from the bottom of the table. I do agree that they should have picked up some more points this season- there has been some really poor luck and refs calls going against them- but even so 6 wins in the league is quite a poor return.�

Its a young side- a very entertaining side that play attacking football- i still say Inverness are a bit short at the back and lose too many soft goals in the middle of defence but the football is good to watch. Shinnie and Hayes are too very exciting young players. Its a shame Davis had to go back to Wolves he was a terrific loan signing by Butcher.�

I dont worry too much about form here this is a cup tie and the Pars should be right up for it front of their own fans. I expect this game to be very tight- probably quite physical too with a few cards and a busy night for the ref. Pars do have the edge in experience that could be vital.�

The sides have met 3 times this year already and every single game has been a draw. So for that reason im going with Dunfermline because ive a feeling this one might well go to extra time.�
