Bayer to win

Germans got a great win over Valencia that puts them right back in the mix for the place in the knock out stages. With Valencia playing the rank outsiders though this is a game they really need to get a result in but with Chelsea on poor form they should fancy it.

Chelsea have a lot of problems at the moment and the most obvious one is the defence. Terry is too slow, but hes not the only reason for the soft goals being gifted. The entire back line is playing with nerves and i have to say the keeper looks a shadow of the guy that was one of the top stoppers in world football 5 years ago. Manager is under a lot of pressure, they spent a lot of money getting him out of that porto contract, but its not worked out so far. To be fair its not his fault this squad has grown old and dropping guys legends like Terry is easier said than done.

Leverkusen are also on poor form in Germany but even so the CL does give them a break and home advantage in european game is absolutely huge. I think these are good odds on Bayer winning- 3 points takes them to the top of the table- with a trip to Belgium last and a fixture they should be winning. A win here would pretty much put them through and with Chelsea defending like a side for the lower leagues i think they can get it.
