This looks like a good game with a few goals.�

Sothampton are absolutely flying at the moment and look good value to make it 2 promotions in 2 years. 5 points lead at the top of the table i think its fair to say the Saints have been by far the best side in the championship.�

The manager has done a wonderful job. He knows this level of football so well but he is also a very confident guy. I think that rubs off on the players- he knows what he wants to do and how exactly to go about it.�

Their midfield is excellent, 2 very tricky wide players but also some real quality attackers in Connelly and Lambert.�

8 wins from 8 home games, 21 goals scored, cant ask for more than that.�

Brighton started the season very well but as soon as the manager signed a new 5 year contract things seem to fall apart. They lost 9 goals in the space of 3 games and the confidence seemed to just drain out the side. Its amazing how quickly things change as Brighton had looked ready to challenge in the opening month or so.�

10th position at this point is not so bad right enough but fans will be worried by their form over the last few months. The much needed win over Barnsley was the 1st in 10 games.�

Southampton always play to entertain so hopefully we will see more of that here. Ofcourse Brighton are not coming here to open up and make it easy but its fair to say the defence is nowhere near as solid as it was early on in the season. I will say one thing for Brighton they have a fantastic penalty box striker in Mackail-Smith. One chance and hes putting it away. While Saints are a quality side they do allow every side they play some soft chances, as most attacking teams do. Only 1 clean sheet in the last 4 and 2 goals lost v Cov who are the poorest side in the league�

I think Brighton can score but they wont stop this very talented Saints attack grabbing a couple at the other end.�
