Motherwell are having an excellent season and manager McCall is doing a wonderful job. Now in November and they are still in front of Celtic- 8 wins from 13 games- that is really good going given how tight the spl is and how little money the manager has spent.�

Excellent midfield, lot of very good passers in their side, pace out wide and good delivery, we have seen a lot of good football from the Well this season and some well taken goals. I really like Lasley his shooting from distance is as good as any player in our league.�

The odd thing about Motherwells good form though is their performances against either side of the old firm. Totally outplayed in both games, Rangers controlled a 3-0 win here and Celtic could have scored more than 4 at Parkhead. Craigan is a very experienced defender but he struggles badly when the quality of strikers the big 2 have.�

Celtic are a strange side. Sometimes the football going forward is excellent to watch but their defending at times is just woeful. The back 4 and keeper really dont like cross balls and they dont enjoy playing against sides with pace in attack. You get chances against Celtic almost every single side they have played this season has been gifted them.�

15 points is a huge lead for Rangers so really Celtic need to win here- and win that game in hand against Dunfermline- to have any chance of getting back into the title race.�

In attack there is plenty of options. Hooper and Stokes are both good goalscorers also Forrest and Commons provide plenty of chances with their direct running. It was good to see Commons back in the midweek win over Rennes he has been badly missed.�

2 pretty good footballing sides that are not great at the back i think we will see an interesting game with a few goals.�
