you never get it easy at stoke and i expect a very physical game for utd here.

obviously the reds are on fantastic form- it may even be the best start to the season sir alex has ever made. scoring plenty of goals but also playing with so much confidence from midfield forward. every attacking player seems to be on top form and stopping them is a very tough task, as arsenal, chelsea and spurs have found out already.

stoke are never the best side to watch but you simply cannot disrespect them or underestimate how difficult it is to play against this side. every player gives everything he has and while its not the type of football we all love to watch it is very effective. already they have won at west brom, beaten liverpool and managed a draw with chelsea. this side are a top 10 club who knows maybe even top 6 or 7 this year if their form continues.

stoke cant take on utd in an open game so their best chance is to get men behind the ball and make sure utd are given no space. thats why i go for a few cards. i expect plenty of needle in this game, some heavy tackles from stoke and one or two flashpoints. i think its going to be very physical.
