This should be quite an open game with a few goals.

England badly need to get a result in this match after struggling in the last couple of home fixtures against the Swiss and Montenegro. The pressure is right on the manager having failed at the world cup- not making the euro finals is unthinkable for a side of Englands quality.

They do top the group with 11 points but i think its fair to say the nation need to see a good performance as well as a result. The football has not been great since Capello took over and hes not getting the best from what is clearly a very talented squad of players.

He will bring Young of Man Utd into the side which would mean he could partner Rooney or possibly play just off a front 2 of Rooney and Defoe. There is so many options for England with Downing, Milner and Johnson also on form at the moment.

Bulgaria could still turn things around but 6 points is a huge gap to both sides at the top of the table. Just one win for Matthaus in the 1st 5 games its not been the exciting appointment many expected.

Hes lost a couple of very experienced players but the team does still include premierships starts Stan Petrov and Martin Petrov. Popov is a very exciting attacking midfielder, hes scored both their goals in this campaign.

For once England have all their attacking players fit and on form so thats why i go for plenty of goals in this game. The Man Utd lads are of fire at the moment and id hope we see Downing of Liverpool at some point. He is such a wonderful player, nice passer but can also take men on and create for himself. Hes possibly the most underrated player in this England squad.

Looking at Englands defence though i still see some problems. John Terry is getting slower all the time and the keeper position is still a worry. Hart has not been great in the last few months and both back up keepers are very unexperienced.

I think Bulgaria with the crowd behind them, will score in this game, but i cant see them keeping Rooney and Young quiet.

With 2 pretty average defences over 2. 5 looks a good bet.
