The Gers were woeful in the 1st leg but with the ibrox crowd behind them should have more than enough to deal with this side.

Huge win for Rangers at Motherwell on Sunday. What looked like a tough fixture was a routine win as the side at last clicked and ally mccoists team played with a bit of balance and scored a few nice goals. It could easily have been a couple more but im sure he would settle for any win tonight.

The most important player in that team at fir park was wylde. The young winger had been left out of the side in the 1st leg with Maribor and previous CL embarrassment by Malmo. But with the contract situation sorted hes back in the side and looking forward to another successful season.

He may be a youngster but he is so vital for Rangers. Giving the side balance but also adding direct runs and important goals. The finish at Motherwell was quality- he simply has to start this game.

Maribor are quite a poor side in my opinion. I dont really know how Rangers managed to lose the 1st leg. Playing negative, giving respect, holding onto a 1-0 goal lead. McCoist gifted them a way back into the tie.

It wont happen again though. In front of their own supporters Rangers should win this by a distance. With Wylde in the side and an attacking line up id expect a 2 or 3 goal with for the scottish champions.
