motherwell have started very well with 3 wins and a draw from 4 spl games. i think its fair to say even now there is a real chance of them taking 3rd spot this season. the manager has been quick to ask for calm but given the poor standard of the spl at the moment why shouldnt he fans believe ?

rangers are in bad way and the manager could be about to lose his job if he cant sort it out pretty quickly. 3 terrible results in europe have loaded the pressure right onto ally mccoist and if rangers were to be knocked out next thursday i think craig whyte may well decide to sack him.

we always get physical games at fir park between these sides- usually because the smaller club is really fired up and their players are desperate to impress the supporters. motherwell will fancy this because they are in much better form than rangers. thats why i got for quite a physical game with a busy day for the referee. there is going to be some big hits in the middle of the park and it wont be a surprise if craig thomson goes for a red card.
