Arsenal contrived two very good goals against Boca yesterday but in the second half Boca crept back into the game with Riquelme, the playmaker orchestrating the attacks from midfield. Everyone could see that Arsenal's defence are still lacking in mutual understanding between the players and they really are missing a team leader at the back. Attacking wise though, it has to be said that the Gunners are almost scintillating to watch at times and I really do admire their fast passing brand of football. They should easily be able to put a few behind NY's goalkeeper later this evening but I am not too certain that they will keep a clean sheet at the back.

The first tie of the Emirates Cup yesterday saw NY defeated PSG 1-0, courtesy of Linpere's twenty-seventh minute striker which means that the American side currently top the group after day one. The glamour of this tie today would be the return of Arsenal's hero Thierry Henry against his former side today. During his prime days, Henry was virtually unstoppable for the Gunners when they played at Highbury and you would not bet against him to at least get on the scoresheet today.
