pars are back where they belong in the spl and i expect them to do very well this season. looking at the teams at the bottom of the spl there is certainly nothing to fear- with some good home form dunfermline can stay in this league.

they were excellent last season in div 1, by far the best side in the league, and with a very noisey home support behind them i dont see many side getting it easy at east end park. one thing they do have in their squad is a lot of experience and thats absolutely vital.

saints have made some interesting signings with steve thomson being the pick. he should add a bit of heigh and power at set plays which they lacked last season and Hasselbaink is a very exciting signing from Hamilton.

i think its fair to say lennon is looking to play a bit more attacking this season, hes kept them in spl but now they have to kick on and look to challenge for a top 6 place.

despite being 2 outsiders this season i expect a good game here. pars have to attack at home and look to take points in front of their own fans while st mirren look much more capable of grabbing goals away from home this year. should be a decent game.
