This year's Copa America has pretty much been a very low-key affair with the lack of goals and entertainment. Powerhouses Brazil and Argentina did not live up to their bill as well, leaving the next favourite, Urguay to lift the trophy for their 16th time today. Before the tournament proper, many critics have condemned Uruguay for their lack of form running up to this cup, but as the tournament has progressed, their performances have been better and better. They held Argentina in the quarters before comfortably defeating Peru in the semis. Both Suarez and Forlan have been doing the damage thus far and although Cavani have almost been non-existent, they should have enough in them to breach the Paraguayan's back four.

Paraguay too took a notable scalp when they dumped the Samba boys out in the quarters. Paraguay play more of a cohesive unit game due to their lack of indivdual flair, and although their steady defence do keep them in games, their failure to find the back of the net often undermines their capabilities. This final would definitely be a tight affair and I just think Uruguay would be a bit too much for their opponents today.
