Usa are ofcourse one of the favs for this tourney but couldnt really have picked a more difficult group. Korea, Columbia and Sweden all decent opposition so its important they get off to a good start with 3 points. The final match is against Sweden- a very underrated side- so America will be looking to do as much as possible in the 1st 2 fixtures- obviously full points would be perfect- but id guess 4 is the bare minimum.

Korea are a very nice passing side. All comfortable on the ball. Maybe dont score enough goals but they do like to pass it around and have some tough tacklers in midfield. They wont be standing back admiring the talent USA have like Oreilly and Box. They Koreans will be in about them with some strong defence hoping to put them off their game.

Usa are very fit and powerful side. Lot of height at set plays and so much energy in the side. Il be surprised if we see a fitter team at this finals than the Americans their training is always hard work and their motivation second to none.

Usa are my tips to win this tourney simply due to strength which is so important in the womens game, but im expecting a tough test from Korea today, a match that i think could be quite physical.

You really cannot afford to lose that 1st game so thats why im going for a tight game with a fair bit of needle. I think we will see some yellows in this one and hopefully a red too.
