Bartoli vs Lisicki

Bartoli emphatically defeated Serena Williams out of the tournament yesterday, ending her 17-match unbeaten run in this grand slam. The French lady was serving very consistently throughout the match and just on tha day, Serena was not up to her very best which allowed Bartoli to improve her record on grass this season to an amazing 9-0 record. One also have to remember that Bartoli was the winner in the event leading up to wimbledon, which was the eastbourne championships, with some appalling conditions in the final then. Next up for Bartoi would be the hard serving Lisicki of Germany, who have already capped ehr comeback return with a second round defeat over number three seed Li Na.
The German wildcard may not have been seeded in this tournament but from what I do see thus far, she easily is capabale of being a top 10 player in women's tennis. She serves as hard as any of the girls on the tour and to date, even has the fastest serve among the ladies. When her game is one, starting from the service, it is almost impossible to break her, less so on grass. If you think Bartoli's record was actually amazing, have a look at Lisicki's one. She is 10-0 on grass this season, a winner in Birmingham a fortnight back and have only dropped a set in the championship also thus far. I just cannot see how Bartoli, who isnt that agile with her movements, can curb the attacking threat of her opponent.
Lisicki also won her last two encounters with Bartoli on straight sets.
Picl: Lisicki 2-0
