This match will pit two top 20 players in the world for a place in the fourth round of wimbledon. Almagro is ranked fifteen in the world while Youzhny is seventeenth. However, Youzhny have had a torrid year thus far, hampered by niggly injuries and poor form which has seen him stuck with a record of 11-12. Quite possibly, age is probably catching up with the Russian ace already as he will 30 later this year and I cannot see him maintaining his shape for the years to come. But on grass, anything is possible esepcially both players do not have the big serves required.

Almagro this year have taken an impressive 31-12 record into Wimbledon and I do think he does stand a real chance against the Russian today. Up to date, the russian does lead to head to head encounter 2-0 but anything is possible in a grand slam. I expect this match to go the distance because I cannot see that many brwak of serves from either of these two and whoever is more consistent towards the end would be the likelier winner. Go for five sets here.
