both to score
the opening games of these sort of tourneys are often very tight but with the attacking quality in both sides im expecting a good game.
england came so close 2 years back and pearce will believe this is the year when england can go 1 better andwin it. 2nd favs for the championship england certainly have plenty of quality and players with loads of epl experience. I have to admit im not so sure about the keeper and the back 4 but from midfield forward this a very talented side. Welbeck and Sturridge could form a verydecent partnership.
Spain, well they are the favs for this tourney. Same as just about every Spanish side at the moment. So much quality through-out the team, so many wonderful skillful players and the ability to pass the ball around for 5 or 6 mins without giving it away. Its very tough for sides to play against the Spanish sides because all that chasing makes teams very tired- as we seen with Utd in the CL final v Barca.
Bojan will obviously be the man to watch but you know there will be plenty of others looking to make their mark. Many of them have plenty of experience in the top league in the world so nerves wont be a problem.
England have goals in their side and asalways with most British sides a lot of powerful players. They dont look great at the back though and a side like Spain will expect to score goals against any nation they face. Thats why i go with both sides to score as it should be a great game.
