both teams have plenty of quality in attack but lack speed and cover in defence.

celtic lost the title to rangers on the last day of the season but i dont think they should be too upset with this years performances. it was a very close title between 2 very good sides and only a point divided the sides.

in attack celtic have been excellent. hooper and stokes have formed a wonderful partnership but if in area of the team lost them the title it was the defence. the defeat at inverness which handed rangers the advantage was down to some woeful defended by the back 4 and a very nervous night for the keeper.

motherwell are a very young exciting�side with a lot of desire and strong running in midfield. they did beat celtic in the league 2-0 with sutton outstanding so while the bookies make them rank outstiders here they know they can do it and have done it. they also ran rangers very close in the league cup semi final which was at hampden so have some experience of playing here.

both sides have plenty of options in attack but look weak in the centre back areas. thats why i go for plenty of goals in this one. i dont think either will play safe here im expecting all out attack by both managers and a very open cup final with plenty of goals.
