Many not the most exciting CL semi final in recent years but one thing we do is that England v Germany is also tasty with both nations hardly being the closest of friends.

Not many expected Schalke to make it this far but we have to be fair and say no side that makes it to the latter stages gets there with simply luck on the field and luck of the draw. There has been some top class results on this run and they have knocked out some big names, sides that have won the trophy in recent seasons.

Man Utd look sure of the epl and while there was�a small upset in the fa cup im sure its not going to worry sir alex too much. Hes put together a side now thats very tough to beat- can go away from home in europe and defend for long spells- but still has some outstanding talent in attack. Ive thought for a while Utd are ready to win that CL again and that the title was a cert- so im not too surprised by their achievements so far.

I think this game will be very tight and both teams may even by quite happy with a 0-0 draw. Dont see an open game of football at all. I expect it to be quite physical, very niggly, with�a lot of heavy tackles, Thats why i go for cards in what is a such an important game for both�clubs.
