Saints are on terrific form but we seen last weekend that Wakey have some options in attack too so this should be a high scoring 1.

St Helens forwards are on fire at the moment- they�have simply steamrollered�the opposition in the last month. Their front 5 look as strong as any side in the comp with Roby, Perry and Graham all on top form and hungry for success. They started the season very poorly so the coach will be delighted with the way his side have turned it around. As always Saints will be on of the sides to beat.

Wakey picked up a super win last week putting 50 points on the board but they also managed to lose 30 in possibly the worst defensive effort from 2 super league sides iver ever seen. It was like a friendly match or a training game. Either side took the ball for 3 or 4 tackles and simply walked through paper thin defence. It was interesting that despite pulling off a vital win the manager was quick to say if we defend like that next week we will get crushed. Hes right, if Quins can score 30 sides with far more power and class in attack like Saints could double it.

Wakeys attack looks a lot better though with Jefferies now fit and Tommy Lee always has been a talent. They seemed to enjoy the hot weather last week- when attacking anyway- so i expect the Wildcats to give Saints some problems. But St Helens are looking very strong and powerful up the middle of the park- plus the confidence has returned- so everything here points towards quite a high scoring match.
