Warrington slipped up last week and we seen the shock of the season so far and Catalans beat them. The boss left some important players out, they didnt perform, and the French side took the points.

Overall though its been a terrific opening couple of months for Tony Smiths men. For the 1st time in a long number of years Warrington look ready to challenge for the title. We have seen them totally outplay sides like Saints, Wigan and Leeds. The 3 top teams in super league over the last few seasons.

Their goal line defense has been superb. Even the smaller guys are coming up with the big hits and ofcourse Warrington have plenty of options going forward.

Giants are also ready to challenge. Maybe they are slightly behind the top sides like Wigan and Warrington at the moment but its early in the season and the signs are pretty good for Brown. They have beaten Warrington on day 1- although Wolves did lose a lot of players to injury during that game- so there is no problem with belief.

Again, their defence is excellent too. Rush up quickly and are very good at slowing even the quickest sides down. I like the Giants forwards id say they are strong as any side in the middle of the park. Faiumu is having a terrific season- the offloads are different class very tough to stop.

2 very strong defences, 2 big powerful sets of forwards, i think this will be a tight game which is quite low scoring. Both teams also have great discipline which is obviously important in physical games. Its far easier defend in the opposition half than on the goal line.

Warrington miss Briers for this game and hes a big loss to the attack. Giants for all their great play do tend to make the wrong choices when throwing that final pass- go the wrong way or panic slightly in the red zone. It has cost them this season it did v Wigan.
