Both sides can score tries but Celtic in particular are quite poor at the back so we should see an open game.

Celtic are getting hammered most weeks and their rookie manager is finding the going quite tough. It always was going to be difficult taking over from a very experienced coach like Brian Noble but im afraid any team losing 40 odd points in super league puts the coach under pressure. Their edge defence is poor, the goal line defence even worse and its far to easy to break the line.

One positive for Celtic is their attack- they do have options going forward and in Sammot they have one of the best attacking players in our game.

Salford, after a poor start, have really hit form with 2 terrific wins over HKR and Catalans. 2 big strong physical sides you would expect to have more power than the Reds but they stood up to the challenge and their back line really fired. Ive been quite suprised by the quality of Salfords tries in recent weeks- fantastic moves with beautiful handling. It is a dangerous side with some real class in the backline- Rathford is a class act.

This should be quite open. Good weather and 2 sides that try to play and like to attack. 50 points seems a bit low to me i expect around 9 or 10 tries in this game with Salford winning but Celtic posting a decent score of around 22 points or so.
