Wigan are not on top form- it is early in the season right enough- but the Warriors were far from their best in recent wins over Hull and Salford. I think they are suffering a slight hangover from the world cup championship which they lost to St Geo. It was a very physical game which took a lot out of them both mentally and physically. Their attack has not been great in the last fortnight and the kicking game is very poor.

Giants have been the opposite, they are on terrific form. We should have seen them crush Quins as Browns men were in total control of that game and 8 points difference does not tell the full story of the 80 mins. Bulls were thumped last weekend by 50 and according to the match reports it could have been a lot more. Brough and Brown are on top form at the moment possibly the best half back pairing in super league.

2 top defences, 2 aussie coaches that�demand excellent line speed�and 2 of the teams most expect to be in the running for that grand final. i think everything here points towards a very physical low scoring affair which Giants will probably sneak due to home advantage and Wigans injury list.
