Since Wolsburg club owners have sacked Steve Mclaren, there have been no signs whatsoever that things ar on the up for the struggling German side. What a remarkable turn aorund of future it has been for the once mighty Wolsburg, who ascended their way to the summit two years back, but this season, they are fighting for relegation at the foot of the table. Last weekend against Leverkusen, they were absolutely appalling in defence and if not for the goalkeeper, they may have been sluaghtered five or six. The manner in which they shipped in two of their three goals just proved their incoherence at the back.

Nurnberg have punched abover their weight this season and a win today will further consolidate thier position for European football next season. Bayern are slipping up in recent games and this would be a no better time for the Nurnberg side to stake their claim. They are afterall unbeaten in their last eight in all compeititon, and last week's 5-0 rampage over St Pauli was just an indication of how united they were. Go with the visitors in this one!
