Leiria is a strange team, specially in the second part of the championship. In 2011 Leiria suffered three defeats at home, but at the same time Leiria is unbeaten on road. The reason is simple, Leiria style is based on defense and fast counterattacks. Now we have to be focused on Leiria home performances and they are really bad - three defeats in three games. Here are the results:

09.01. Leiria - Benfica 0:3

For this game Leiria will be without injured Marco Soares, Obradovic, Zhang and Ngal. Having on mind that some of the best players left the team during the January transfer period, it is clear Leiria will have many problems in the second half of the championship. Lucky for them they have enough points not to be involved into relegation battle.
