Motherwell face Rangers in the battle for a place in the final of the league cup against Celtic. Neither side is on great form at the moment with the Well winning only 1 of the last 6 matches and missing experienced coach Brown who moved to the Dons. McCall has taken over after a very tough time at Bradford City so while he was a player with plenty of experience he does not have the greatest record so far as manager. Still what�better way to put that right than beating both Rangers and Celtic to win the cup.

Rangers have lost�to both title rivals Hearts and Celtic in recent weeks so�its not been the best few weeks for�Walter Smiths men. Hes too negative at times and this has cost the side important league points. There is a little bit of pressure on Rangers here with Celtic already through and ofcourse results in the league not going their way. Its fair to say Rangers are nowhere near the form of champions.

I dont see this being the greatest game of football although it will certainly be interesting and very keenly contested.�Im expecting Motherwell to get right in about Rangers and make the match a scrap. Hit them with some heavy tackles and if you have to pick up a yellow so be it. If you stand back and watch the old firm there is no way you will get a result. Ofcourse Rangers have a few players then enjoy a tackle and their dicsipline this season has been pretty poor.

Im expecting a few flashpoints and a busy day for the referee so these good odds on plenty of cards
