Pressure is right on Rangers now so they simply have to get a result at struggling Hibs.

Its been a bit of nightmare for Calderwood since he took over at easter road. The players dont seem to be playing for him and with no wins in the last 8 are now sitting 2nd bottom of the league. We also seen them knocked out of the cup by 2nd division Ayr so its fair to say the manager is under some amount of pressure. Im actually surprised he is still there because Hibs really have been awful for the last couple of months and do look poor enough to go down.

Rangers lost at Hearts which opens the title race right up. Some will say they played very well and were a bit unlucky- which is probably true- but they didnt have any class in the final 3rd of the pitch and if you cant score you wont win games of football.

Jelavic should have been on a lot sooner than the last 15 mins so hopefully Walter Smith wont make that mistake again. He cannot afford to pay that amount of money for a quality striker he has to play tonight at Hibs.

Hibs are poor at the back. To be honest i think the 2 centre backs are woeful. Every team that plays Hibs at the moment gets in on goal far too easy. They are also hopeless on cross balls. Motherwell scored twice from simple balls into the penalty area which the Hibs backline didnt even compete for.

In Jelavic Rangers have the best striker in this league. He is good in the air but also very skilfull on the deck. Most importantly he can finish so if Rangers make anything like the amount of chances they did against a pretty decent Hearts side- im sure Jelavic can take one.
