Manchester United must have thought that it was the best time to play their arch rivals after the Reds were humiliated 3-1 by Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday. Under Roy, Liverpool totally looked out of sorts, and his abysmal away record meant that it was always a foregone conclusion that they will lose on their travels. Even at lowly Stoke and Blackburn, they palyed way too defensively and the final straw of the dice came when the fans began chanting for his imminent exit. Now though, the tide is changing at Anfield with King Kenny back at the helm. He brings along his whole repertoire of knowledge to the game and on a personal level, command great respect from the fans and also the players.

At times this season, Liverpool seem to play much better against the big guns comapred to the elsser known teams. Mainly because they aint that bad, but just the lack of fight. Under Hodgson, the players were despondent to his tactics. But whn the big matches came along, they delivered. They nearly won Arsenal(1-1), lost closely at Old Trafford (3-2) and defeated Chelsea(2-0). Fernando Torres loves playing against the Red Devils and with Steven Gerrard in supreme hot form in the last two games, if those two talisman teamed up together, they can surprise the hosts, who will probably be underestimating them still.
