Nadal vs Berdych

In this three-day affair tourney at Abu Dhabi, only six players will contest for this title. Both world number one and two Nadal and Federer received byes to todays semifinals. Berdych yesterday did beat a fighting Baghdatis 7-5 in the deciding set to set up a replay of their wimbledon final rematch in today's semi final. However, he faces the red hot Nadal who have almost swept everything aside this year. The spaniard was absolutely brilliant in the Barclays Finals, defeating Murray in a remarkable but fatique eventually took its toll when he easily succumbed to a more refresh Federer in the finals.
Nadal holds a 9-3 head to head record vs the Czech heading into this one and although some people may see this merely as a money-spinning exhibition match, the spaniard will be eager to defend his title from last year yet again. The last eight matches between the pair have seen Nadal sweeping all comfortably in straight sets and that should be the setting for todays match-up once again. For me, an easy straight sets victory for the number one seed here!
