Rangers to win.

There is only an outside chance of Rangers making it through to the CL knock out stages. But a small chance is still a chance and every Rangers supporter and player at ibrox tonight will be giving their all to make sure their side take the points. A battle of Britain against the famous Man Utd means there is no need for a team talk from Walter Smith. His players will be fired up like never before and the crowd will be right behind them too.

Utd are not playing so well this season. I guess�winter is their favourite time of the year so you would expect them to hit form over the xmas period but so far thats not been the case. The away form in the epl is dreadful- just 1 win for the Reds. And ofcourse there is the subject of Wayne Rooney. Is he here because he wants to be ? is he just staying on so the club get more money as hes on a longer deal ? who knows only Rooney and Sir Alex probably but it has caused problems in the dressing room and the fans are not pleased either.

Rangers are top in the spl. Ok so the defence is a bit of a shambles at the moment. But with Miller in top form and the midfield making so many chances they are getting the results. They will have to defend well tonight ofcourse but Walter Smith does have a habit of getting the tactics right for the big games and he will have done his homework on the Reds.

This looks like a terrific game to me because both defences are suspect. I just have a feeling that Rangers support is going to lift their side tonight and that will we see one of the great european nights at ibrox.
