Liverpool sit in the bottom 3 and to be honest i think they are very much in this years relegation battle. It looks as though bringing roy in was a mistake as they have actually got worse during his short spell as boss. There is a lot of players in that side that dont seem to care enough about the club and i wouldnt even try to estimate how much money has been wasted on sub standard players.

For once their defence looks very poor. It was the main reason the team went close to winning the title and all the way to a european cup final. But it is looking very shaky at the moment. I have to admit i find skrtel the most overrated defender in europe. He is not commanding enough in the air and makes too many basic errors.

Bolton are getting better every week under Coyle. He may not have been the big name manager many of the top english sides have but he is boss that continues to do a very fine job anywhere he goes. In scotland he took saints into the spl and almost to a cup win. At Burnley he took them into the epl and now he hopes to make Bolton an established spl side that dont fight relegation every year.

They sit mid table at the moment and while things are tight at the bottom i say even now there is no chance of this sides going down. Too much class from midfield forward. Some good footballers like Lee- but also a lot of power and experience in attack.

I think bolton fire out the traps and look to put Liverpool under pressure right away. Long balls, crosses, throw ins, any tactic that has given Liverpools centre backs problems this season. But Liverpool will be a danger on the counter attack. It is still�a still with some good attacking options like Torres(who does have a great record here) so there will be chances at both ends.

Im sure we get an open game here with plenty of action at both ends.
