Gloucester to win.

Gloucester have recovered from a poor opening month and look good value to add Leicester to the list of top sides they have defeated this season.

It was a very tough start to the new season- infact there was much talk of redpath being fired. They looked a side with so little confidence and to be honest lacked fight and desire- unforgiveable in rugby. But they managed to sneak a win over Leeds and have never looked back since.The confidence has built and thats 4 wins in a row now. I think its fair to say we have seen much more from the cherry and whites forwards in recent weeks and that makes all the difference.

Leicester are champions ofcourse- the best side in england- but there is always a question mark over their ability to play away from home. At welford rd you can never bet against them but on the road they can be a bit suspect. Im not sure why this is because this is a top side full of international class stars.

I doubt this will be an easy win and the price with the bookies suggests a draw is possible. I just think Gloucester are on a roll at the moment and with confidence high they should sneak this. I doubt we will get many tries in this game- despite the quality in both backlines- but the boot should be the difference here. The Gloucester forwards should win enough field position to earn the penalties to win this.
