Both teams to score.
I expect an open game with both sides having a real go so il take both to find the net.
Interesting comments by big Mick before this match- he has said its about time his team done something in one of the cup competitions and that this is a good chance for them to go far. I totally agree i have no idea why sides like Wolves have not taken this trophy more seriously in the past. To win it, or even make it to Wembley, would be a great achievement.
Wolves have not made the best start in the epl but its not time to panic just yet. Despite sitting 2nd bottom Micks side are only 4 points behind Everton in midtable. Once again its going to be very tight in that bottom half with about a dozen sides in the scrap.
I was well impressed with their performance at Chelsea at the weekend. We didnt see them find the target but they made about 7/8 good chances against by far the best side in the league. Chelsea only made sure of the win with 10 mins to go.
Man U are gifting so many soft goals this season. It really is quite odd to watch all these experienced defenders making simple errors. 12 lost in 9 epl games thus far- thats more than Blackburn and Fulham who sit in the bottom 5.
I would guess some of their top stars will get a rest for this one and that the line up would be quite similar to the one which hammered Scunthorpe 5-2 in the last round.
Wolves have to have a go here and look to win the game. There is no point sitting back in a cup tie as they would in a league game. Mick knows Man U are not at their best in defense so he should pick an attacking team.
You always expect United to score at home- no matter who starts- but i also believe Wolves have the quality in their attack to find the target too. There is some speed out wide and in Doyle they do have a striker that can take a chance. Hunt also comes back into the squad after 2 months out and should start.
This should be a nice game.
both to score at evens.
