Twente is not a bad team, but they are inexperienced. In the first round they played a excellent match against current European champions Inter Milan and the final result was 2:2. As You can see they were not afraid and even more, they managed to return after Inter took early advantage. In the second round Twente visited Tottenham and lost with high result of 1:4. But I must say it was undeserved. Twente played a good game, but some referee decision was wrong. My opinion is there was a clear penalty for Twente, but that's it. On other side Werder played 2:2 with Tottenham at home and lost 4:0 from Inter in Milan. As You can see, at least four goals were scored on every of 4 matches in the group A.

For today match Twente will be without injured Emir Bajrami and Bart Buysse, while Twente must play without Sebastian Boenisch and Naldo.

I expect another efficient match in this group, like all previous. Both teams have nothing to calculate for. Both teams need a victory to continue their hopes for progress. So, at least three goals should be scored here. Marc Janko will lead Twente attack, while Hugo Almeida will lead Werder attack. But of course there are much more players able to score, like Theo Janssen and Nacer Chadli at home side, or Marko Marin and Claudio Pizzaro in Werder.
