The last season Newcastle played in Championship. They will be remembered as the first team that managed to score 100 goals in one season. They showed some of that spirit even now in Premiership, when beating Aston Villa with 6:0 in the second round. Andrew Carroll was the man of the match with three goals then. He is ready again and I believe he will score against City too. Together with Kevin Nolan (scored in the last game against Stoke) they are very dangerous attacking duo.

Manchester City spent the millions for new players. They want the title, but second season in row results are far from expectations. Italian manager Roberto Mancini is under pressure and he must bring some success or... However, City won against Chelsea in the last round and now must continue that way. This victory will surely means a lot for the team morale. Now I am sure Mancini will attack from very first minute. The attack is maybe the stronger part of the team with Adebayor and Tevez.

Since both last matches in the season 2008/09 ended with Over 2.5 goals, I expect this to be continued. The last game played on City Ground on 28.01.2009 ended 2:1 for Manchester. Shaun Wright Philips and Craig Bellamy scored for the hosts, while Andrew Carroll fro Newcastle. I believe in something similar today.
