Panathinaikos started UEFA Champions League the worst possible way. They lost 5:1 from Barcelona at Nou Camp. On other side FC Kopenhagen won at the opening round against Russian champion Rubin Kazan with the only goal scored by Dame Ndoye in last minutes of the match. Now Panathinaikos is under big pressure, another negative result will probably mean elimination.

Panathinaikos have some problems with injuries before this match. Sidney Govou, Cedric Kante, Nikos Spyropoulos, Giourkas Seitaridis, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos and Antonis Petropoulos are injured. Some of them may be recovered on time, but still the situation isn't good.

FC Kopenhagen on other side have three injured players - Solvi Ottesen, Martin Bergvold and Morten Nordstrand. The good news is Christian Bolanos has recovered from an ankle problem. Still, it is a question if he will play tonight.

I expect we will see a tight game in Athens. Panathinaikos fans will make very hot atmosphere and they are very important factor. But Panathinaikos isn't in good form. Striker Djibril Cisse is very experienced, but I am sure Danish defenders will pay a special attention to him. Coach Stale Solbakken will probably decide to play defensive way and I think they are able to stay unbeaten.

One information is very interesting. Panathinaikos and FC Copenhagen already played against each other in a UEFA Europe League group phase just three years ago. Panathinaikos won 1:0 and the scorer was Dame N'Doye. And now he is playing exactly for FC Kopenhagen. He know the opponent very well and he will be very dangerous tonight.

As conclusion, I rate Panathinaikos and FC Kopenhagen as equal. Panathinaikos have the home advantage, but Greek side is under big pressure after heavy defeat from Barcelona. So, draw is very possible here.
