This game has a history of being quite nasty as the 2 sides simply dont like each other.

Aberdeen fans love this fixture- they are always fired up for the game and although its an early kick off on a sunday morning that wont change a thing. Its�a game they want to win badly and expect 100 per cent effort from their team.

Its not going so well for their manager, he was already under pressure after a poor end to last season. Really a club like Aberdeen with their history should be doing a lot more than fighting or hoping to make the top 6. They should be going for that 3 rd spot with Hearts or D utd.

Rangers have 5 out of 5 wins despite not quite playing at their best. Miller is on top scoring form though and i have to say i think this lad Jelavic looks a steal- even at 4 million pounds. The Gers crushed Dunfermline in midweek but have a tough CL game after this one- so the squad is really going to be tested.

I expect this one to be fast and furious with very little football played. Aberdeen will be right up for it- it is their cup final the game the fans want to win more than any other. Thats why�i go for a busy day for the referee.�There should be loads of heavy tackles and possibly�even one or two getting carried away and losing their discipline altogether.

We dont get quiet Rangers games at Aberdeen so�back the referee and go for�plenty of cards.
