Both teams to score.
These are 2 sides that i expect to see going for top spots this season so im expecting a good game with plenty of action at either end.
Carlise have made a fine start with 2 wins and a draw from their 3 games. I think its fair to say this side has more experience than most of the challengers but it is also a team that pass the ball and look to entertain. They were excellent from start to finish last week- handing out a 4-1 hammering to MKD- i like the pace they play at as most teams at this level struggle to combat speed.
Colchester are another side i like the look of. Ok we may not get the same level of passing and quality throughout the side- but they get the ball up to both big strikers as quickly as possible and this is also a tactic thats successful in League 1. I would say Utd probably have as good a front 2 as any side in the league, Odeillo and Flynn are a handful.
Colchester have 2 draws and a win from their opening ties. We also seen a very nice performance at Sunderland in the CC which was only spoiled by some horrific goalkeeping by under pressure no 1 Cousins. Its interesting that the boss has backed him, he will start tonight.
2 good attacking sides should mean an open game. Carlise have the quality to score away from home against any side in the division by at home Colchester will put them under pressure with high balls and crosses. So hopefully both can find the net.
