After watching Manchester United live at Old Trafford, things are looking good for the team to continue their performance at the Cottage this afternoon.

Manchester United's midfield quartet of Nani, Scholes, Fletcher and Valencia, looks like one of the most solid ones the team has had in several years with balance coming at all 4 positions, and players like Valencia and Nani being able to bomb forward really quickly to either cross balls or even go for the shots themselves.

The surprise of the season has been Dimitar Berbatov, who is working his socks off this season, scoring twice in two competitive fixtures so far with both quality goals coming in those games. He is running harder than he has ever at United, and somehow seems to be at the same wing of the ball at almost all ocassions.

Paul Scholes will be the key man, whose 2 man of the match performances in 2 games, will keep most teams worried with his ability to create the offense as well as his shorts bombed from long distance.

Mark Hughes renews his old rivalry with the master, especially after a string of defeats with a stronger lineup in Manchester City. Hughes' new team Fulham have occasionally been a bogey for Manchester United, but last time around, they were given a solid battering.

Fulham's midfield is quite good as well with Dempsey, Duff, Murphy, Etuhu in a quartet with Gera playing right behind striker Bobby Zamora, gives the team a variety of options especially when attacking forward.

Fulham have injury concerns in Senderos, Johnson and Kamara. Mark Schwarzer is also a major doubt with his back injury and a possible transfer to Arsenal.

The goalkeeper position is one that should decide the game with Fulham playing reserve keeper in place of Schwarzer, and the gulf in the quality, should see United win this by a couple of goals.
